Sat, March 23rd: One Year Anniversary Party!

Dear One Brick Volunteers: We are a small nonprofit that helps hundreds of community organizations each year. We run on a shoestring budget, but we have expenses like insurance, this website, and training materials. We also employ one person who makes sure the train stays on its track. We don't get any foundation or government grants. 30% of the budget is raised during the Annual Campaign going on right now. This year we need to raise $30,000 to keep One Brick afloat. Last year hundreds of volunteers donated $10 or $20 and it made a huge difference.

If you found One Brick useful this year, and you feel we are
making a difference, please consider making a donation.

Thank You

Join One Brick Boston to celebrate our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY at Flat Top Johnny's!

In celebration of our successful first year, we want to celebrate YOU, our volunteers and all of our nonprofit partners. Without all of you we wouldn't be able to do what we do!  You guys are great.

So we have partnered with our awesome friends at Slumbrew and Flat Top Johnny's to provide you with a free event full of good times and goodies to show our appreciation and to celebrate our one year anniversary!

Slumbrew will be on hand (with SWAG!) to talk beer. And we’ll be playing darts and games of pool.

And as another way for us to give back to our community, we’ll be holding a book drive during the event! So please, clean off your bookshelves, and bring your books to our party! This drive is part of the Prison Book Program’s Great American Book Drive.

Plus we’ve got tons of great raffle prizes for you (think gift cards to local businesses, booze, getting in shape, art, and more!). And we’ve got a number of ways to procure raffle tickets:

*You’ll get 1 FREE ticket just for showing up!*
**Get 1 FREE ticket for each friend you bring who isn’t already signed up for One Brick**
***Get 1 FREE ticket for bringing a book(s) to donate to our drive***
****Plus you can purchase tickets for 2 for $5; 5 for $10; or 12 for $20****

Watch our Facebook and Twitter for some teasers of what we’ll be raffling!

We hope you'll join us in our celebration of One Brick Boston's first year! Our social events are a great way to meet some of our team and other volunteers, as well as to learn more about our community. Hope you can join us!  We can’t wait!
